About Us
Connecting early education professionals to inspire and support Foundation Learning.
Meithrin is a non-profit organisation led by a volunteer committee of passionate early education professionals. We believe in the power of collaboration and connection to improve outcomes for young children. Through shared experiences, school visits, and open conversations, we create opportunities for practitioners to learn from one another, build networks, and stay informed about best practices in Foundation Learning.

Our Aims and Objectives
To share good Foundation Learning practice by organising visits to settings and talking to practitioners in schools.
To promote the importance of Early Education.
To enable staff from different authorities to meet and develop networks.
To share expertise between agencies while raising awareness of current issues.
Our Team
Our team brings together a rich mix of experience from across the early years sector—including lecturers, nursery owners, deputy headteachers, advisory teachers, classroom teachers, and teaching assistants. Each member contributes something unique, and together we share a deep commitment to supporting young children’s learning. It’s this diversity of roles and perspectives that makes Meithrin such a vibrant and collaborative community.
